Renishaw 3D Printing

As part of the seniors STEM program the year 7 to 11's took a trip to the Renishaw factory north of Yate. The company specialises in measuring devices that will measure down to incredibly tight accuracy. They also do a lot of 3D printing and this is what the trip went to see. The pupils got to hear about how the company was started, see some of their specialist measuring tools and see some of the 3D printing they work on. As part of the trip, they also got to design their own keyrings on 3D print software and get them printed out. Here are some photos of what they produced.
